Israeli TV Shows Palestinian torture

Palestinian prisoners are pressured to strip their undies in front of cameras by using Israeli soldiers.

Israel’s Channel 2 TV station has released video footage showing Palestinian detainees being tortured by Israeli troops in the regime’s barren region prison of Naqab (Negev) returned in 2008.

The photos showed one Palestinian died and countless others sustained injuries due to the torture with the aid of the Israeli soldiers, Qodsna information company reported.

The Israeli forces have “used tear gasoline and stun grenades” against Palestinian detainees, the video shows.

The footage also demonstrates that medics have been avoided from treating the wounded Palestinians.

In late December 2010, a human rights group known as the Public Committee Against Torture in Israel published that Palestinian detainees are systematically denied the proper to meet a lawyer in the course of interrogations.

Being shackled to chairs for long periods, sleep deprivation, intimidation, torture, and abysmal detention conditions are some of the instances the human rights team documented in its report.

Israel claims that its navy is “one of the most ethical armies” in the world as it treats prisoners and detainees with honor.

But in the latest years, videos have come out, showing how Israeli troopers abuse and humiliate blindfolded and handcuffed Palestinian prisoners.
