ISLAMABAD: The Election Fee of Pakistan (ECP) has strongly rejected the allegations levelled in opposition to the Chief Election Commissioner by some personalities, ARY Information reported on Tuesday.

In a press release, the ECP spokesperson identified that allegations levelled in opposition to Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Raja Sultan by some personalities are opposite to actuality.

The spokesperson mentioned that the electoral watchdog denies the allegations leveled in opposition to the Chief Election Commissioner. “Preparations have been finalised for clear elections in 20 constituencies of Punjab,” the official added.

The assertion additional added that previously, the Election Fee had taken non-discriminatory motion in opposition to influential folks and would proceed to take action in upcoming elections.

“Impression is being on condition that constituencies have been modified. Nonetheless, by-elections on 20 common seats of Punjab Meeting are being held on present constituencies,” the spokesperson added.

It’s pertinent to say right here that the Election Fee of Pakistan (ECP) introduced that polling for by-election on 20 common seats of Punjab Meeting will probably be held on July 17.

The ECP has introduced schedule for election on 20 provincial seats vacated after defecting MPAs of the PTI had been de-seated.

The ECP had de-seated 25 dissident Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPAs who voted for PML-N’s Hamza Shahbaz Sharif in Punjab chief minister’s election.
